Security forces arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of a militant outfit and recovered arms and ammunition in south Kashmir district of Anantnag late Tuesday evening, a defence ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.
He said a joint mobile vehicle check post of Army and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two OGWs at Akoora in Anantnag.
The arms and ammunition recovered included one pistol with magazine, two grenades and one AK magazine with 56 rounds of ammunition.
He said both the OGWs were handed over to the police for further investigation.
